Indigo’s first single “Unknown Love” was Chris Evans’s record of the week and was described by The Face as classic pop schmaltz and was performed on TFI Friday. But the crowning achievement for an avatar of Easy is that it was playlisted on Radio 2.

THE ADISHAM FIVE 2006

Ildikó directed and managed The Adisham Five; a jazz, soul & doo-wop group echoing the post-war era. Ildikó transcribed field recordings as well as performing original material, written specifically for the group. They sparked a memorable chord when they first sang together with The Works Jazz Choir, directed by Laka.D. & in collaboration with the English National Opera. From here they graced London stages such The Jazz Café, Madame Jojo’s, Pigalle, Cargo, The Coliseum, Lost Vagueness; The Coronet & Hoxton hall.

COSMICORUS 2007-2009

London based choral project and band with music written and directed by Ildikó.

The Cosmicorus was a 20 strong folk choir and band that featured on the BBC’s Last Choir Standing and in Will Hodgkinson’s book and accompanying CD on contemporary British folk. Key performances included: The Round House; Camden, Hackney Empire; London, Glastonbury Festival, The Royal Festival Hall, Southbank.

BENJAMIN TILL, PEPY’S MOTET February 2010

St Olave’s Church commisioned composer Benjamin Till to help them celebrate 350 years of Pepys’ Diary. Ben wrote a 40-part motet; a choral work with 40 individual parts based entirely on passages from the great work. His starting point is Tallis’ Spem In Alium but the Pepys work featured singers from a huge range of choral backgrounds from opera to gospel, each representing a different aspect of Pepys’ character.
